Fed (U.S. Federal Reserve Bank) loaned one half trillion dollars to foreign central banks
$ 9 billion went to New Zealand ($3000 per inhabitant???).
Fed is fighting the ability of Congress to audit there books with backing of "Barny Frank" (there you go....sounds like Fannie and Freddie all over again).

Ever hear of the depression of 1920?
No one talks about the depression that was more severe than the Great Depression but only lasted a year.
What was the big secret??
Republican Warren G. Harding knew how the economy works and had no ulterior motives and only had the good of the country in mind.
Harding did nothing!!! He allowed the pain to occur and the recovery came quickly. He did not try to ease the pain and the "free market" rebalanced itself and quickly recovered!!
That is free market economics.

Cash for Clunkers is no Stimulus; Sounds like "Crackpot Economics to me"
All it does is take wealth from one taxpayer and transfers it to another (I think that its been called wealth distribution).
In the proces valuable assets are being destroyed. (They could at least sell them to other countries.)
Makes cheap transportation expensive as good used cars and parts are being destroyed.
Cost of program has already jumped from $1B to $3B (200% in 1 month???)
Recyclers (junk yards) are being overwhelmed causing and environmental hazard (cars must be crushed within 2 days). Government programs usually cause more problems so they can create more programs to fix the problems caused by the previous programs....I'm getting dizzy trying to see the end of this endless cycle of government interventions.
Didn't our problems start by buying more than we could afford? Is this just extending the problem?
Government is increasing its control over your life by making you by the type of car that they want you to buy and destroying assets that they have deemed is bad.
Using your money to buy someone a nice car that they probably couldn't afford.

Is all of the public dissent against the public health care the result of old fashioned Republican dirty politics?
Will the loyal Democrats stand up for what the believe in and try to win over the hearts and souls of the misinformed public by standing against the radical right wingers.
Maybe the new "Health Care Disinformation CZAR" could help by monitoring the disinformation of the radical right wingers and rebutt this disinformation before the public starts believing some of this radical misinformation before the loyal Democrats get a chance to "read and understand" the proposal and get a story together to explain what the administration wants you to believe.
The public could also help by infoming the White House of "fishy" information being disseminated against the proposal.
As a result a list of those opposing the administration's proposals could be added to the Homeland Security Watch list, along with veterans (who to an oath to uphold the Constitution) and known conservatives (naturally oppose big government spending).
Wait a minute......Are we going to have enough watchers for all of this watching?....This may be the solution to the unemployment problem. If the government hires enough watchers, we could have half the population hired to watch the other half. We could make the watched half of the population pay the the watching half of the population to watch them....Make sense?
Another solution is to expand Americorps and have them watch their individual families.

$2.4B Stimulus to create Green Jobs.....$1.7B of it going overseas
Today (08/07/2009) President Obama announced in Elkhart, IN, that $2.4B had been released to create Green Jobs.
What he neglected to say was that $1.7B of it was going overseas (China, S Korea, Russia).
The money will go overseas to create jobs overseas for technology developed overseas.
Eurpoe and Asia is so far ahead of us in solar, wind, and battery technology that the products are to be produced there and imported
Money already sent to General Motors has already been sent to N Korean battery makers.
So much for shovel ready projects at home. Green is one thing but apparently we aren't suffering enough yet at home.

More Congressional Credibility?
Remember the harassment that Congress heaped on the Auto CEOs for utilizing corporate jets for travel to D.C. for the hearings on the bailout?
They are proposing spending $500M for 8 new Congressional jets??
Military only asked for asked for 4......
Are they afraid that if the money pumps stop, they won't get them started again and won't be able to suck any more money out of us?
Is it any wonder the Congressional approval rating is 8%????

God works in mysterious ways
There were 2 elderly men.
Number 1 had been a thief and cheat since he was a boy. He was a gambler and drinker and lived on the streets. His clothing consisted of rags. He had become an angry, bitter old man whose health was failing.
Number 2 had led an honest and industrious life and had accumulated some wealth which he shared generously with the church and several youth organizations. His life had been lonely and sad since the passing of his loving wife of 50 years, some 5 years ago. Although his health was failing, he was still a very dapper and well dressed man.
Neither man had any living relatives.
One gloomy winter day both men happened to be crossing the street at the corner of Broadway and Forty Fifth Streets when an errant truck struck them both.
Due to reduced staffing because of budget cuts the hospital could only save one. The hospital staff pointed to the well dressed man saying “Don’t worry about him, he has the best of insurance, but if we save him the ACLU will charge us with discrimination if the other one dies while we save him”.
Number 1 lives and number 2 dies. The hospital collects insurance on Number 2, “We did what we could”.
Number 1 had no living relatives and went back to his angry bitter life in the streets.
Number 2 had no living relatives but left a large insurance policy to the church and youth groups. The rest of his estate was sold by the state and used to provide needed funds to underfunded hospitals.
God works in mysterious ways. Did He work through the ACLU (?) to bring Number 2 to his reward with his sorely missed wife and the brotherhood and comfort of Heaven while continuing the punishment of Number 1 in his Hell on Earth?
I report you decide.

God and our Founders
God works in mysterious ways. He often tests us, for our spiritual, moral and ethical fiber. No matter what the loud minority states, this country was set up on Judeo-Christian beliefs. This nation is a Christian nation, despite what some of our current leadership believes. Two thirds of the signers of the Constitution were seminarians. The least religious of the signers would be considered part of the Christian right by today’s standards (Church and State were intertwined).
During our country’s youth and adolescence there were growing pains and struggles (War of 1812, Civil War, Mexican American War) while we searched for our identity.
In our early adulthood, we were proud, somewhat arrogant and wanted to establish our place in the world by pushing our beliefs onto to world stage as the great defender of freedom. Our beliefs and passions were strong (WW1, WW2) and we were indestructible.
As time passed and things looked prosperous, we began to question our own motives and beliefs as our passions waned (Korea, Viet Nam). We have rejected God in our public lives (separation of church and state, abortion rights) and have in many cases moved away in our personal lives. We questioned the words of our founders and let minority groups bully the majority into interpreting them to fit their needs and desires. Some of the bullying was morally acceptable and we readily accepted portions of the ideologies. Realizing the success of the methods and tactics, it has come into common use by many groups trying to push a particular ideology.
As the older, more conservative generations have tried to keep us true to the founder’s and God’s words, their faults have been amplified by the liberal minorities in order to convince the moderate majority that the conservative path is wrong.
We have most recently seen that passion is invigorating and persuasive as many moderates have been persuaded by the passions of the left.
The bullying continues, to keep the converted moderates (fear is also very persuasive) in line and to vilify the remaining conservatives. The intimidation has risen to the point that vilification of anything conservative is sacred whereas opposition to the left is intolerable.
It has been quite refreshing to recently see what in the past has been timid moderates beginning to stand up against the rising arrogance of the ruling left. We can hope that the camel's back has been broken (forgive me PETA, it’s only an expression) and the silent intimidated majority will find it’s voice and regain the lost passion that once made the founder’s words burn in the hearts of free men everywhere. Hopefully these trying times will lead us back and we will realize that our greatest and happiest days were when we all held God and our founder’s words close and rejoiced in both (are the 50’s really gone forever?).

Ronald Reagan on Socialized Medicine
“One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. Most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can’t afford it.
Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, they would unhesitatingly vote against it. We had an example of this under the Truman administration. It was proposed that we have a compulsory health insurance program for all people in the United States and of course the American people unhesitatingly ejected this. So, with the American people on record as not wanting socialized medicine, Congressman Ferrand introduced the Ferrand Bill. This was the idea that all people of social security age should be brought under the program of compulsory health insurance………….”

Roe Vs Wade is the basis of our present health care problems
If it weren't for the Democrats we would have 46 million more people in this country to help solve our problems.
One of the reasons our aging population is that they have been allowed to eliminate 46 million people that would now be under 35 years old (abortion made legal in 1974, 35 years ago). That is 15% of our population!!
Could it be that they have been planning this crisis for 35 years??

Obama spins on pulling the plug on Gramma
Saul Alinsky's fourth Rule for Radicals is "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon".
No one has insinuated that Obama would pull the plug on Gramma.
We have a history in the U.S. of the government coming in and allocating resources that are in short supply.
In a crisis (the threat of crisis seems to be the norm with Obama-Saul Alinsky's ninth Rule For Radicals- "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself" ) your voice will not be heard. We have to question motives and ideas before the crisis exists.
In a monetary crisis ( who is driving a monetary crisis by spending trillions and wanting to spend trillions more? ) health care resources will become scarce.
In questioning motives and ideas, we look to the CZAR's, Obama's close advisors who are above public scrutiny. Four of the closest and most influential of the advisors have ib the past researched, written about, or advocated eugenics and/or how to ration health care in the most cost effective means that is the most beneficial to the collective whole.
We already have (price) rationing of health care. Price rationing is part of "Capitalism". If it were not for price rationing, everyone would be eating steak and lobster every day for lunch. Price rationing works but we don't want the government bureaucrats deciding who gets steak and who gets stale bread and water.

Politics in its purest form
At present in Massachussetts the process in place to replace a US Senator that can not complete his/her elected term is to hold a special election to select the replacement within 5 months.
Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy has petitioned Democrat Governor Patrick to change the law that controls this process to enable the governor to appoint a replacement to finish the term of the official that is unable to continue.
That is the way the law worked until 2004.
In 2004 Senator Kennedy spearheaded the drive to change the law so that then Republican Governor Mit Romney would not be able to appoint a replacement for Democrat Senator John Kerry if he were to be elected president.

Stimulus working to create jobs
Even though the private sector has lost 7 million jobs, the stimulus has created 100 thousand new jobs in government
These new government jobs include added staffing to support added processing of unemployment claims??

Administration to support offshore oil drilling
In Brazil. The Import/Export Bank will loan Petrobras (Brazilian National oil company) $2 billion for offshore drilling to produce oil to send to China.
China??.....Oh yeh, that country that holds such a great portion of our debt.
Billionaire leftist George Soros (supporter of the Acorn organizations that have been so supportive of Obama) is the 7th largest holder of Petrobras stock.
That's quite a coincidence.
