Open letter to President re War on Terror

Dear Mr. Obama:
The people of the United States are getting weary of the waste of "American resources" and "precious young American lives" in Afghanistan and Iraq. "Political Correctness" is a major problem that will in fact propel the United States into destruction. Let me bring to your attention that "a spade by any other name is still a spade". We have to be able to correctly define a situation in order to deal with it properly. If you do not consider this a "War on Terrorism" or do not have the gravitas to win, why do you continue to waste "American resources" and "precious young American lives"? If you do in fact, correctly, consider this a "War on Terrorism", and sincerely want to win, I suggest that you let "Black Jack" Pershing lead the way to end this situation.
In 1911, Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of a garrison in the Philippines where there had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks. "Black Jack" captured several of the perpetrators. The terrorists were forced to dig their own graves and were then all tied to posts. The U.S. soldiers then brought in pigs, slaughtered them, and rubbed their bullets in the fat and blood of the pigs. The terrorists were terrified when they realized that they were going to be executed with these bullets and would be contaminated with hogs blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs. All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years. Islamic terrorists welcome the chance to die for Allah. We must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.
If the radical Islamic terrorist even thought that his reward of "paradise" would not be possible and he would "die with the hated pigs of the devil", he would be cowering in terror instead of putting himself within the range of an American shooter. "Fight terrorism with terror". This they will understand. Has none of our nations brightest ever considered these methods of combating terrorism or have these methods been tabled due to "political correctness"? You shouldn’t be worrying about who you are going to "piss off" by following "Black Jack’s example". The people that get upset are the ones we "should" be fighting. Let’s not give captured "War Criminals" undue respect and let’s not trade "precious young American lives" for "political correctness".
