The old Patriot

I've always been political to some degree, and have always had very strong feelings on many ethical and moral issues, but more so since Obama stole my retirement. I spent 40 years working in the defense industry and have been retired now for about 10 years. I thought that I was quite secure in my retirement until Obama's intervention stole about $350,000 of my security and gave it to the "God Damn" Unions.

Brownie (that's Dale) used to work with me and I have kept in touch with him over the years. I was admiring some of his art art work and he encouraged me to try putting some of my feelings into simple drawings. That was the birth of the_old_patriot.

He said that he was starting a political web site in hopes of making a run for the US House of Representatives from the 5th district of MA. I have been encouraging him to go for it. His hesitancy was due to feelings of lack of experience in politics. I hope that I convinced him that that was a plus. Without the political background he doesn't have to worry about whose ass to kiss next. It would be quite refreshing to hear the truth whichever way it falls. I only regret that I don't live up there in his district so I could help out and be there to goose him if he gets any misgivings. You can bet you sweet (or grimy if your a honest to gosh politician) ass that I will be in close contact and follow his progres as close as I can. I just wish that I was 20 years younger and could kick ass and take names like I could once.

Anyway, I convinced him to attach the old patriot to his web site, and promised to provide a continuous flow of material. Maybe keep my mind of my smetimes hungry belly and maybe even make some bean money.

If any group or organization would like to use any of my toons I would be glad to oblige if you would like to help with my retirement.

$50 for a ontime public use or $150 for exclusive unlimited use for 1 month would be nice.
